About Delta Dunia Group
PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (Delta Dunia Group, IDX: DOID) is an Indonesian-based company publicly listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Established on November 26, 1990, as PT Daeyu Poleko Indonesia, the company initially focused on export-oriented textiles, producing rayon, cotton, and polyester threads.
In February 2008, the Group shifted its strategy by selling its textile manufacturing business and transitioning to commercial and industrial property development in Indonesia. A pivotal moment came in November 2009 when the company acquired 99.9% of shares in BUMA, one of Indonesia’s largest coal mining contractors by production volume, and subsequently divested its property business. Since then, the Group’s primary focus has been on coal mining contractor services.
As a holding company, the Group operates through its key subsidiary, PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA). In December 2021, BUMA expanded internationally by acquiring Open Cut Mining East in Australia, now known as BUMA Australia Pty. Ltd. The Group also has two other subsidiaries, PT BISA Ruang Nuswantara (BIRU), a social enterprise dedicated to education, vocation, and the circular economy, and PT Bukit Teknologi Digital (BTech), which provides end-to-end cutting-edge mining technologies.
Delta Dunia Group aims to enhance its financial strength and market presence while driving resilient and transformational growth. The Group is committed to aligning its operations with the global energy transition journey, aiming for net carbon zero by 2050.
