Our Sustainable Procurement Principles

At BUMA Australia, sustainable procurement is central to how we operate. We are committed to spending efficiently, economically, and ethically to deliver value for money across the entire lifecycle of our projects. Our approach goes beyond sourcing, we assess value for money by considering the broader impacts on our organisation, the community, the economy, and the environment.

Supporting Local Communities and Suppliers

We actively use our purchasing power to create positive social and economic outcomes. Wherever possible, we prioritise local goods, services, and labour to support the regions in which we operate. We believe that engaging local suppliers not only strengthens community ties but also enhances the success of our operations, as local businesses are often better equipped to deliver responsive, high-quality support.

While we place a strong focus on local procurement, we also maintain national agreements with selected tier 1 vendors to meet our operational needs. These partnerships are carefully managed to ensure alignment with our values, standards, and commitment to sustainability.

Supplier Registration

Our suppliers are essential partners in helping us meet our operational requirements. BUMA Australia uses a range of sourcing processes based on business needs and is committed to providing full, fair, and reasonable opportunities for national and local suppliers and contractors to participate in our supply chain.

If you are interested in becoming a supplier for BUMA Australia, please complete our Supplier Pre-Registration Application.
